Oddly, this record's pulverizing grooves make me think of a hardcore version of Dying Fetus' "Destroy the Opposition". The songs are finely tuned for maximum pit destruction, rotating through a beautiful array of drum beats, with the core one being a stumpy polka beat that just screams "circle pit". The Siouxsie & the Banshees cover is both surprisingly faithful and surprisingly not out of place. I hope the band explores that melodic direction a bit more. fyeahmetal

They ought to send all the song proceeds to Slayer for that first song. Thankfully they expand to their own sound for the majority of the rest of the album. Heavier hardcore fans are going to really dig this regardless. Bart
